Time has a way of transforming memories: colors fade, edges blur, names and places are forgotten. As a photographer, I attempt to capture a moment the way that I imagine it to live on in one's mind. If a memory could be extracted and placed it in a tangible form, this would be it. I try to accomplish this with the camera as much as possible, but I will also utilize post-camera processing to achieve the exact effect I seek.
Mac nerd, music lover, and oddball creative-type all rolled into one short and skinny package. I was born in York, Pennsylvania in February of 1972. I am a perfectionist. I play the drums and the guitar and wish I could sing while doing either of those things.
Most of my photos have been shot with a Nikon D70 digital SLR. Pre-2004 images have been shot with an Olympus Stylus 300. I have two lenses that I frequently use with the D70: a Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G ed-if af-s dx zoom and a Lensbaby 2.0 selective focus SLR lens. I process the raw images using Photoshop on an iMac.
